This CONSTRUCTION ZONE is open for ALL mother figures, grandmothers, and guardians to share a special evening with the little men in their lives (Ages 3 and up). The cost is $25 per Mother/Son couple. $5 in addition for each participating brother.

Spring Church Clean-Up Day

When: Saturday, March 23rd, 7:30am -12noon

We are having a cleanup day on Saturday, March 23rd, to spruce up our campus and have it beautiful for Easter services. If you are available, we would certainly appreciate your help. A breakfast will be provided before we start to fuel us up for the day. If you have any questions, please contact the church office at 251-981-6751.

It’s that time of year again!!! Fathers, Grandfathers, and Father-Figures, you are invited to Dance Through the Eras with the special girl(s) in your life at our annual Daddy-Daughter Dance! Spend an evening with your special girl(s) with dinner, dancing, and memory-making. Don’t delay, register today. The deadline to register is quickly approaching on February 23, 2024.

OBMC will have a Church Work Day this Saturday, Feb. 24th from 8:00 a.m. until noon, weather permitting. Bring large “loppers”, yard brooms, shovels & gloves.

Finding Your Way in the Dark: Men's Navigation Retreat | Friday, February 16th, 6:30pm-9pm | Gulf State Park | How did the early explorers ever find their way home without GPS? What would you do if you were lost at sea or in the woods without a compass or an electronic device? During our Men‘s Retreat: "Finding your way in the dark," we will learn that no matter what, we can find our way home.

Cost $25 which includes a Steak Dinner

Martha Missions, Men’s Bible study, and Wednesday Night Women’s Bible study are hosting a Chili Supper, Sunday, Feb. 11th. Pick up is available in the Brooks Center after both services. All proceeds received will go to the annual scholarship fund. This scholarship is awarded each year to a qualifying senior in May.

Chili was made by the men. Cakes and Pies made by the ladies.

Come out and support Martha Missions at this year’s Christmas Cookie and Craft Sale. Bring the family and purchase a cookie tin (or more) and fill it up with a variety of tasty Christmas treats. This year we are excited to have a variety of items created by Martha Missions for sale. Proceeds from this fundraiser benefit the great projects of Martha Missions. Some of these projects include: scholarships, Kairos Outside, backpack programs at our local schools, and more. There will be a children’s table set up to do some Christmas crafts of their own and for them to do a little shopping on their own.

Join us for “Emmanuel: A Christmas Cantata” on December 3rd at 10am at OBMC. Enjoy your favorite Christmas songs, heartwarming scripture, and a harmonious choir featuring both adults and children. Celebrate the true meaning of Christmas with us in a joyous, musical experience.

This will be a shared Sunday morning service. We will not have our regular 9am & 10:30am Service. Make sure your mark your calendars to join us in the sanctuary at 10am.

Nursery will be available.

Surviving the Holidays | Sunday, Nov.14th, 6-8pm | Ministry Center | Wondering how you will survive the weeks surrounding Thanksgiving and Christmas? Are you dreading these holidays, knowing that everything has changed and that happy memories from past years can’t be recreated?
Our Surviving the Holidays seminar is especially for people who are grieving a loved one’s death. You’ll learn:

• How to deal with the many emotions you’ll face during the holidays

• What to do about traditions and other coming changes

• Helpful tips for surviving social events

• How to discover hope for your future

Volunteers are needed for our Church Campus Clean Up Day.
We have various projects that need to be done inside and outside such as:

• Trimming and cleaning out shrubs/trees in flower beds

• Add pine straw in flower beds

• Lock for utility room in Brooks Center

• Water for maple tree roots

• Stage lighting in sanctuary

• Barrel lights in sanctuary

• Apply round up flower beds

• Move tree/limbs to road

• Clean out shed

• add additional parking at Church Office/Ministry Center (move & replace landscape timbers)

• Repair sprinkler valve on the east side of Brooks Center

• Pick up limbs/palms around church campus

• Clean kitchen oven

Tools that will be needed to complete these tasks include, but not limited to:

• Hedge Trimmers

• Weed Eaters

• Limb Loppers

• Shovel

• Rakes

• Hoes

• Eye Protection

• Gloves

All are invited to join us for a free meal, a wonderful time of fellowship, and an encouraging word from our ministry team. This is a free event (donations are accepted). Parents/guardians must accompany children as this is not a drop off event.
